Committee for SC/ST

As per AICTE guidelines, a committee has formed for prevention of atrocities against SC/ST students under the Act No. 33 of 1989, Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

According to AICTE norms, Institute has constituted the SC/ST committee, to implement, monitor continuously and evaluate the reservation policy in the Institution and plan measures for ensuring effective implementation of the policy and programmers of the Government of India.

To be an institution based on principles of equality, social justice and human rights for all. To maintain harmony among the staff and prevent any discrimination on the lines of creed, caste, gender and religion.

Mission

To assist, guide and train the students and staff of weaker and deprived sections of society and to develop and uplift them to be a part of mainstream of the society in a cordial and just environment for a sustained overall progress.

 

 

In case of any grievance in this regard, students can approach the committee for redressal regarding academic, administrative or social problems.
